Ting-a-ling Youth Project has been ‘reaching out’ to people in the Caribbean and the continent of Africa for over 20 years. We have worked with schools, children’s homes and people in need, helping to empower people and do things for themselves. For example, we have helped people purchase tools to repair their damaged property and helped with much needed resources for schools.
We are currently working with Moira Morgan from ‘The Children’s Oasis’ in St Thomas, Jamaica, who has lived in Jamaica for over 20 years. Moira manages a children’s home and has worked with a number of agencies in Jamaica to deliver aid and distribute resources to people in need.
We are currently raising funds for the recent disaster in Jamaica which has caused devastation in communities and families. The money will go towards helping people in need, such as, schools, children’s homes and people’s livelihoods that have been damaged by the recent storms. The money will go towards equipment, resources and infrastructure and any cause that will help people ‘get back on their feet’ and support their families.
We are currently looking to raise £5,000, which will be used to help people in need. We would appreciate any donation, as it would go towards supporting people and improving their lives.
